Our Project Managers lead complex projects and dynamic teams. As part of the Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Competence Center team, you will drive initiatives throughout the IT-department at H&M. That includes everything from running one-person projects to global projects involving our global divisions, 3rd party suppliers and/or off-shore resources.
In your role as I&O Project Manager at H&M you will work with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to ensure I&O project deliverables are clearly identified, defined, documented and delivered within the agreed timeline and budget. To succeed in your role as I&O Project Manager at H&M you have experience leading varying sizes and set-ups of project teams and initiatives, local and global; you have a genuine interest in technology; and you are business minded. You have ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage unclear prerequisites. It is also important that you have a genuine interest and curiosity for developing other people.
The Infrastructure and Operation division serves H&M globally and consists of three main areas; Application Operation, Infrastructure Services and Cross Function. The I&O Competence Center is a service organization providing I&O management resources and teams to programs and projects across the IT-department at H&M. We are mainly seated in Stockholm and Hong Kong.
Your responsibilities
The job of a Project Manager at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:
• Successful planning, execution, monitoring and closing of I&O-projects according to agreed project goals, way of working, time and budget.
• Running pre-studies with various levels of complexity; development, implementation, procurement (services as well as products), sourcing and service delivery projects; as well as rollout and transition projects.
• Leading, coaching and developing others by delegating, competence transfer and mentoring.
• Build and maintain relationships with many different stakeholders, within both business and IT.
• Participate in continuous improvement together with PMO, I&O division, IT organization as a whole and our business
Your skills
Just like everyone at H&M, we believe you are a social, open, communicative sales-minded and ambitious team player full of drive and optimism. And your skills include:
• Excellent leadership skills with a business oriented mindset
• Minimum 7 years of experience from Project Management with a wide variety of types and complexity of projects
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, in English and Swedish
• Experience from purchasing/implementing services and products from 3rd party suppliers and/or managing teams involving 3rd parties
• Experience from working with off-shore resources
• Experience from Change Management
• Knowledge of IT Governance and ITIL
• Overall knowledge and understanding of technical solutions
It is an advantage if you have previous experience from global rollout or transition projects.
