Swedish Care International (SCI) is an education company specializing in dementia and elderly care practice and methodology. SCI is based in a large and roomy office by Karlaplan in Stockholm. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Project Manager to run our international project Queen Silvia Nursing Award (QSNA). QSNA is an international scholarship for nursing students in Sweden, Finland, Poland and Germany. The scholarship was established in Sweden in 2013 as a gift to Her Majesty Queen Silvia. The first scholar was announced in Sweden on the Queen's birthday on 23rd of December 2013. The purpose of Queen Silvia Nursing Award is to contribute to meeting one of the greatest future challenges by promoting competence and new ideas related to good and sustainable care of the elderly and people living with all over the world. Building and maintaining strong relations with Queen Silvia Nursing Award Partners: businesses, universities, nurses associations, etc.
Taking an active role in researching and contacting potential partners in Sweden, Finland, Poland, Germany as well as in other countries.
Representing the project in meetings with potential partners as well as in public events.
Taking ownership of the whole project and actively directing the Project updates, improvements and other developments on continuous basis.
Managing and implementing different aspects of the project; being flexible with various tasks and responsibilities throughout the year (planning, partners relationship management, marketing, organising of award ceremonies, reporting, etc).
Coordinating the work of a Project team and/or external suppliers.
The successful candidate should:
Be outgoing, self-confident and have good communication skills - in order to be successful in managing existing partner relations building new ones.
Be creative and proactive in suggesting and implementing his/her own ideas to develop the project.
Have at least 3 years of experience in Project management and be able to manage different aspects of a big project in a structured manner.
Be a confident public speaker (in English and Swedish).
Be fluent in writing and speaking in English and Swedish.
A previous work experience in Sales or Fundraising is an advantage.
Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Education, experience or interest in elderly care, nursing or healthcare is an advantage.

We offer a Project contract for 12 months with a possibility of prolonging/changing to tillsvidare contract in the future.
