How is your work day?
Our client within the automotive industry is looking for a new project manager who will lead a team and projects with the aim of reaching the business objectives. Overall you will plan and execute the companies sourcing processes. On a daily basis it includes to analyze the supplier market, develop category strategy and solutions, develop Bid strategy and prepare, submit and follow-up RFI/RFQ's. You will also be responsible for analysis and evaluation of quotes, monitor business case and savings, recommend and select suppliers, issue Letter of Intent and contract suppliers and secure handover to Projects & Operations buyer. Your work is executed in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment.
The assignment starts in the end of September and will continue to the end of April 2015. This is a full-time assignment but the workload can demand long working days. You will be a part of Adecco's consultancy business but your work is executed with our client.
What is your background?
With your solid experience from sourcing processes and supplier negotiations, preferably from the automotive industry, you will quickly find your way quickly in your new role. Business acumen, technological understanding and knowledge in financial and spend analyses facilitate your working day. Your experience from strategic sourcing, development of processes and leading teams will be highly appreciated. You are motivated by driving your own projects with an inalterable focus on savings.
As a person you have great communication skills and you are at ease with driving changes and developments. Your ability to plan activities, drive processes and lead groups is necessary to succeed on this assignment and your holistic view together with openness for new sourcing ideas and solutions make you the person we are looking for! Since this industry is international both your Swedish and English are fluent in written and spoken.
