As Project Manager, you will become the key to our success, as it will be your job to bring our products into the future together with your team.
Apart from being the world's leading manufacturer of bushings, we have new and exciting product areas in sight and you will ensure that we break new grounds and deliver in time according to customers' expectations or above. You will work in projects with varying tasks such as challenging design rules in basic technologies to the development of complete product families. As part of the position, you will work in close collaboration with customers and suppliers, and get the opportunity to travel abroad.
The requirements: You hold an Engineering degree and have experience from project management. It is required that you are proficient in English and Swedish - written and spoken alike. It is qualifying if you are have worked within design and development of high voltage products, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Knowledge in ABB:s Gatemodell will be counted to your advantage. Your broad technical interest will be useful when you generate pioneering solutions.
On a personal level, you are a communicative, driven and result oriented team player. You will be part of ABB Components in Ludvika. We have manufactured transformer components like tap changers and bushings since the beginning of the 20th century and we are ABB's primary manufacturer of the products. The business unit is also responsible for research and development of these products and is located in Ludvika, ABB's world center for high voltage technology. We have seen an enormous development during the last decade and envision a positive future. The development of material is key for future solutions and gives us opportunities to create new concepts.
