Description
The client are now looking for a Project manager for their project. The project consists of four sourcing areas, hence four separate procurement processes. During the sourcing project, the client have made the decision to enter into contract with the current main vendor within the sourcing scope which limits the size of the transition project considerably from the scenario where the client would select a new supplier.
However, the scope of the sourcing has originally consisted of 2 vendors, whereas service from the incumbent supplier needs to be transitioned to the selected supplier and the new contract need to be implemented with the selected supplier and in the organization.
Work tasks:
• Project manage the implementation project. The incumbent and selected supplier will project manage the exit, transition and implementation service within their responsibility.
• Primary speaking partner with incumbent and selected supplier in the implementation project.
• Information, communication and coordination work in Postnord to stakeholders. Including reporting to the PostNord Steering Committee.
• Follow up and secure that the implementation of the legacy application maintenance services and agile teams in scope of the project are designed, planned and staffed in alignment with the expectations and that the implementation is done with the required level of quality.
• Follow up and secure a managed exit management with incumbent supplier from a delivery and commercial point of view.
• Financial management of the implementation project.
• Manage dependencies in the implementation project with other key deliveries.
• Secure that service management process is implemented in line with the standards together with service management.
• Secure that 24/7 support setup is implemented by supplier in agreement with incident management and delivery organization.
• Secure that Governance and reporting is established for the new agreement.
• Setup governance forums, reporting incl defining reports, KPI, forums and participants for governance.
• Implement order management process (templates are defined, new services are implemented in order portal, processes are in place.
• Implement correct pricing of services and rate cards.
• Ordering of implementation services and call of services under the new agreement.
• Plan and secure education of the new contract for relevant employees.
• Setup steering committee and report project for steering committee.
• Conduct project reporting and closure for Postnord PMO and investment board.
Mandatory competence and experience:
• Prince2 or equivalent project management certification.
• Certification in agile or Lean frameworks will be considered meritorious.
• Higher education within IT or equivalent knowledge gained by other means.
• Experience in project management minimum 5 years.
• Experience in transition projects for application services from larger global suppliers.
• Experience in deliver of agile application services and in managed application services (development and maintenance).
• Proven ability to independently capture & share information through formal written documentation in English and local language.
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and local (Swedish or Danish) language.
• Excellent management, planning, communication, presentation and leadership skills.
