We are growing our Business & Application Development team with new colleagues and are looking for you who are experienced in the textile and/or nonwovens value chain. Join our great team in the effort of creating a more sustainable fiber for the global textile and nonwoven markets!
YOU WILL
You will be part of a growing company with the ambition of being a game changer within the textile industry, to significantly reduce its environmental footprint and to make sustainable textile fibers available to all. We have a novel technology - using renewable forest raw material and regenerating the cellulose into a textile fiber.
Our Business & Application Development team is responsible to verify the fiber value proposition in processes and applications, enabling commercialization of the TreeToTextile fiber for different global textile and/or nonwoven applications. As a Project Manager you lead industrial scale application trials in a safe and efficient way. Further you will:
• plan, coordinate and control these projects to successfully implement our fiber in the global market.
• travel all over the world to our customers and collaboration partners' facilities, exploring project status, lead the trials, document and follow up the results with colleagues and partners.
• solve upcoming challenges and where needed come up with new ideas to make the project move forward.
• be active on all levels within the textile and/or nonwovens value chain, from production floor to management.
• work closely with your colleagues in Sweden, who are working within e.g. R&D and the Demo Plant.
• draw learnings from challenges and contribute to creating value and new knowledge.
•
This role can be placed anywhere in the world and will require travelling to approx. 50% of your time.
YOU ARE
We are looking for you who share our drive to bring sustainable materials to the wider market. You have a good understanding of the whole textile and/ or nonwoven value chain and deeper knowledge in some parts. For example, you have worked within (or collaborated with) textile or nonwowen production, fiber manufacturers, wet or dry processing, product quality, clothing brands or confectioners. You have strong communication skills in English and at least a Bachelor in Textile Engineering or other relevant Engineering field. You are used to remote working and it is important that you have the willingness to travel as well as good accessibility to reach destinations worldwide.
As a person you are purpose driven, curious, structured and share our passion for sustainability. To succeed in this role, you also need to be a self-motivator and driver with tenacity and a getting it done mentality. You have good project management skills, transparent working habits and want to be part of a culture with a strong collaborative spirit where everyone can make a difference.
