We are now looking for a project manager within for our client in the automotive. We expect you to have experience of working in project management and who can manage multiple projects simultaneously. If you also have experience of working in technical project management in the automotive industry is an advantage.
For our client we are looking for a project manager for their Project Management Office (PMO) where the PM will manage all project deliveries performed by Features, Verification & Validation (FVV) in order to deliver projects with QDCF fulfillment.
The PMO has the responsibility to define and refine all incoming orders to Feature, Verification & Validation, and are also managing several important functions like co-ordination of test objects, portfolio management and overall project budget. To act as a Steering Committee representative is also a natural part of the PMO responsibility.
Function description for FVV PM: PM within Features, Verification & Validation in all matters related to portfolio management and steering group representative in small, medium and large size projects.
The main responsibility for the FVV project manager will be:
• Manage FVV project budget portfolios
• Represent Product builds in projects
• Represent Features, Verification & Validation in project management teams
• Lead the project team within Features, Verification & Validation
• Develop a verification and validation plan from the end customer's point of view
• Secure the project budget
• Report project status prior to each project gate.
Personal skills needed:
• Experience within automotive industry or equivalent
• Engineering degree (MSc) or equivalent
• Service minded with a creative and positive attitude
• PMP Certified Project Manager or PMP certification is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Experience from project management
• Truck knowledge
• Driving license (truck & trailer) is a plus.
