We are about to strengthen our Finance & Project Management Office (FPMO-team) by employing a Project Manager with business acumen and interest in IT. Your team
The Group IT Finance & Project Management Office is among others responsible for overseeing and supporting the project portfolio as well as individual projects. By providing Project Management services with reliable and transparent project delivery, including setting the standard, providing the tools (templates), and being the role model for good Project Management practice by following our set standards.
The FPMO is responsible for tracking the project portfolio in large, following individual projects and offering support, providing, diffusing, and infusing project management structural capital throughout Group IT.
You will be working in an organization and team of highly skilled professionals, a pleasant work environment, with great social networks in an international environment. The position is located in the Head Quarter of Stockholm.
Your role
The role has a focus on project management that requires experience and interest in IT technology. You will be leading Group IT projects towards Swedish Match Divisions and Corporate Functions close to production and driving the digitalization forward. The role involves collaboration and communication with many different teams and stakeholders where you have to adapt to different working methods (Waterfall, DevOps or Agile, etc.).
The purpose of the Project Manager role is to take ownership and lead selected Group IT projects, throughout the project lifecycle and deliver a project on time, with the right quality, and within budget, as committed. The objective is to deliver long-term business solutions that enable desired business value and meets technical requirements on sustainability, security, and quality to prevent technical debt.
Key responsibility
• Take ownership and lead everyone involved to achieve project objectives on time, quality, and budget
• Manage steering committee, customer, user, and Group IT stakeholders, incl. communication, relationships & expectations
• Maneuver the project through its context, encompassing e.g., conflicting priorities or objectives, dependencies, and events
• Plan, monitor, and control all aspects of a project
• Communicate and clarify project objectives and deliverables to the project team
Who are you?
We believe that you have at least 5 years of experience being a Project Manager or in a similar role. Preferably you are PMP/PMI-certified or equivalent. We also see that you have a degree in the field of IT management, engineering, business administration, or similar work experience. In addition to sharing an interest in IT and technology and having experience working with different techniques and working methods. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working close to production and operations.
As a person, you feel strong ownership of responsibilities with a strategic and analytic mindset. You are a fast learner with the ability to see the big picture but also understand the importance of details. It is important that you can collaborate with others, and you listen and communicate in a constructive way. You are stimulated by working in a proactive approach driven by values and results.
