NEA is the project office for production of control systems for our future powertrains. We work on producing sustainable transport that includes everything from hybrid technology and electric batteries to conventional powertrains and alternative fuels.
Your duties
As a project manager, you will be at the heart of development of our new products. You will lead the cross-functional work and have a great many contacts, both within Scania and with external parties.
As a project manager with us, you will get to work on exciting future projects (as common projects within VW T&B but also for Navistar and other partners), the aim of which is to further increase Scania's competitiveness. This is a position involving a variety of duties and you will assume significant responsibility, as you will drive and report on the entire department's deliveries, which first and foremost includes producing control systems for powertrains for buses, trucks and industrial and marine engines in projects.
Your profile
You will have considerable initiative and like leading teams that deliver results and drive forward solutions to problems. As a person, you will be committed and organised and will enjoy working at a fast pace. Courage and clarity will be among your most prominent characteristics. You will be outgoing and have a good ability to develop and maintain a broad network of contacts at all levels, and be comfortable presenting and reporting to large groups.
We are looking for someone with a BSc or MSc in Engineering who has documented leadership experience and an interest in new technology. Experience of project management would be a huge advantage.
