YOU WILL
As a Project Manager at Macgregor, you will be a part of a dynamic group of colleagues all managing different projects and you will have a functional responsibility for Design, Purchasing, Production Control and Installation for your projects. You will work with several projects at the same time and therefore need to be able to handle different stages and situations at the projects at once. At MacGregor, the projects run over several years and you will keep close contact with the customers during the entire contract period but also be there to help during the warranty period.
Other tasks and responsibilities are to:
• Regular updating of the contract program to ensure milestones are reached according to time plan
• Full budget responsibility for the projects
• Make sure follow-up and validation meetings are planned and well documented
YOU ARE
MacGregor is looking for a person that have a minimum of 5 years' experience with international project management activities. You have a strong technical and commercial understanding and a structured way of working. Since you will have a lot of contact with many different stakeholders during the project it is important that you feel comfortable in presenting and can easily capture project requirements. Your leadership skills will also be crucial as you will have the end-to-end responsibility for the projects.
Previous experience in project management or work with a project methodology approach in a technical and customer-oriented environment is needed. We also expect you to have excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
To succeed in the role, we also see that you have:
• Good experience within Microsoft Project
• Contract management experience
• Customer focus with a business mindset and taking initiative.
If you have a background within engineering and have worked within the marine industry before this will be meritorious.
