Being part of the Nuclear Services Product Line, Nordic Operations Fuel Services Group is working with nuclear fuel service activities close to its customers. We perform about forty fuel service campaigns a year at various Nuclear Power Plants worldwide delivering visual inspections, measurements, repair work, material samplings and cleaning of fuel and control mechanism. At our own Fuel Service Center located in Västerås, Sweden we carry out preparations for coming site campaigns, functional tests, service and maintenance on our fuel service tools and equipments as well as training of the personnel.
Role summary:
Nuclear Fuel Services consist of activities such as inspections, repairs and measurements on nuclear fuel (both BWR- and PWR-fuel). The work is carried out at nuclear power plants all over the world.
As a Project Manager you are responsible for the service projects in terms of planning and managing time and costs. It is a role which consists of administrative work such as preparing and closing projects but you are also operative and involved in the daily activities, being part of the team of technicians. Although this is an international role, the focus will be on the German market, with projects at German nuclear power plants. The role brings international contacts such as authorities and both external and internal customers.You will travel approximately 100 to150 days per year. The time in between projects, your location will be at Westinghouse in Västerås, Sweden. You will be part of a successful company with positive future prospects in an international environment.
Your qualifications:
Graduate degree in engineering or relevant experience.
Experience from managing projects.
Experience from the nuclear industry is desirable but not required.
Very good language skills in German and English are required.
Your personal skills:
Your leader and social skills are very important in daily work and contacts with colleagues, customers and authorities.
You need a good understanding of and interest in other cultures.
You are structured and work methodically.
As safety thinking is essential in our business, you must have a high level of safety awareness.
