About the position
On behalf of our client, Perido are looking for a Project Manager. The company is a world-leading supplier of transport solutions and together with partners and customers, they are driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. The office is located in Södertälje.
Your daily tasks
We are looking for a Project Manager to a group at the company's R&D. The group is developing the Management system together with requirements and information architecture for the Embedded systems development process' IT-tool chain.
You will be part of an agile team that is responsible for creating a management system and implement the requirements from the management system into IT-solutions. The team is using variety of methodology (e.g., agile, project lean etc) with sprints, daily standups, demos and retrospectives in close collaboration with stakeholders that fit the teams interfaces.
The team is developing Management Systems with requirements that impact IT-tools. The work will enable the project team to work more efficiently. Your delivery is a crucial part contributing as requirements to our own development.
The tasks will have a wide range from arranging and sorting out meetings, contact stakeholders, assist in administrative tasks (e.g. recruitment processes, prepping for audits, initiate dialogue with relevant employees etc.) light basic project tasks and may grow into more advanced project tasks.
Your characteristics
• Social skills in combination with communication skills, to be able to handle discussions with other R&D functions regarding change impact, priorities and information architecture.
• Likes to collaborate with colleagues and enjoys dialogues and discussions to find the best solutions
• Structured and organized. Can break down vague statements to concrete deliverables
• Stress resilient
• Actively identify and take on tasks that can be of value.
• Can manage conflicts (goal or interpersonal) if they arise
• Is actively looking for business understanding and is eager to learn about Product Development within R&D
• Has the commitment and motivation to work with others to develop, deliver, simplify and improve.
• Passionate about agile system development and acts as a true team player, but is also capable of working independently when required
• Has an innovative mindset and would like to make a difference
Qualifications:
• University degree in engineering
• Experience from project work
• Familiar with the project methodology and agile frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish or English (or both)
Meriting
• Experience from the automotive industry
• Communicating fluently in Swedish
Contract type and hours
Full-time, 1 year consulting assignment. Start as soon as possible.
