Job description
The consultant will work in a large scale and world-wide roll-out of warehouse management system based on state-of-the-art SAP technology. Implementation and management of the solution is to a large degree outsourced to several global IT vendors. The project also includes transition from another warehouse management solution to the new platform based on SAP. The consultant will be working in a global environment with many stakeholders such as several IT teams, vendors, business people, local warehouse teams, etc
Primary tasks are:
* Lead for initiatives e.g. PMC prestudy, transitions
* Interact with other teams in meetings to hand-over.
* Process design and documentation
* Review of detail design
Competences
* Project Management experience
* Application experience from WMS area
* Experience from Warehouse management system implementations and roll-outs
* Experience in Warehouse management system implementation projects with many people involved
* SAP EWM experience is a great plus
Qualifying skills
* Test management
* Business experience from logistics/warehousing
* Experience from voice solutions
* Experience from integrations
* Experience of data migrations
* Training experience as a trainer
Personal skills
* Straightforward and open minded
* Skilled in thinking both on helicopter- and on a detailed level
* Team player and a can-do -attitude, always helping peers and supporting the team
* Be a driven, well organized person with excellent communication skills
* Good verbal communication and documentation capacity in English
* Available for long term assignment
