hela Sverige UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry. Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas. We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.
We are now looking for S/W Project Manager, for a project in Stockholm to start in mid November.
Job Description
• As Project Manager you will lead and manage SW launch projects. In this position you will lead a SW launch project from the very beginning through all the phases from preparation of the first SW release to final releases of the complete customized SW packages for our phone projects. A challenging mission on a tight project schedule. Key responsibilities in this project management role is to:
• Supervise the overall customization process for the phone project by securing that the time planning of the customization subproject is in line with the software time plan.
• Drive and monitor deliveries of Content and customization data
• Make sure Customization configurations are tested before releasing the software.
• Take part of the factory implementation of all customized software packages. In essence to secure the correct software is released.
• You will manage three teams with 2-5 direct reports in each team with various suppliers working for them. The teams are responsible for customizations of our devices, content incl. applications, wallpapers, ringtones etc and release management.
• You will be reporting to the main SW PM for our product projects.
• You will be in close co operation with the Main project to take care of Operating acceptance (SW Part) as well as securing the type approval for our products. This means many interfaces project internal as well as outside the project for supporting functions.

Previous experience of the mobile phone industry
• exposure to Symbian OS
• 3rd party and sub-suppliers management skills
