We are now looking for a consultant for an assignment working as Sourcing Lead in sourcing projects to secure long term supply agreements with commercial contract manufacturing organizations. The assignment will start September 1:st with the duration of 6 month. The position is based in Hornsberg, Stockholm. Job description/Key responsibilities
As Project Manager Strategic Sourcing you will be working with sourcing of commercial manufacturing services for Sobi's pharmaceutical and biotech products. The External Manufacturing department is responsible for managing Sobi's external manufacturing and supply chains and ensuring continuous supply of our products to patients through a global network of CMOs. You will be responsible for sourcing of commercial manufacturing and supply services related to Drug Substance, Drug Product and Finished Goods.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and coordinate sourcing projects for commercial contract manufacturing of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products
• Develop supplier selection plan, Request for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs).
• Lead due diligence evaluations and site visits. Lead proposal analysis and evaluations and develop business cases and recommendations for selection.
• Lead and Drive decision-making for supplier recommendation through governance committees.
• Develop and review specifications, statements of work and term sheets
• Lead contract negotiations for technology transfer and manufacturing and supply agreements, including development of key terms and conditions and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
The right candidate fulfills the following qualifications:
• A university degree in Pharmaceuticals, Engineering, Biochemistry or other relevant area.
• Minimum 5 years of documented experience of working with procurement of Contract Manufacturing services within the Pharma/Biotech industry.
• Strong business and technical skills in areas of: Sourcing and procurement process knowledge and strategy, agreement negotiation and management, developing business cases, supplier analysis and evaluation.
• Experience of working in a cross-functional environment establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal/external partners
• You are self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and are able to make priorities in order to deliver business critical items in time.
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and industry regulatory standards of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology products
• Fluent in English and use to communicate in a business environment.
