hela Sverige Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Project Manager for strategic projects to join our stellar team in Stockholm.
In joining us you will play an important part in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
As Project Manager you are an integral part of the Ett Project Management Office (PMO). Your mission is to support the Northvolt Ett project execution of the large-scale battery factory being built in Northern Sweden through strategic initiatives. The PMO is divided into sub-programs; Upstream, Downstream and Infrastructure, as well as supporting functions across these programs. You will drive and manage initiatives within the sub-programs to support the overall objectives of the Ett Project. Your responsibilities extends into both the design phase as well as the execution phase.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
NV Ett Operating Model and other project related tools owned and managed by the PMO
Value engineering initiatives together with Process Engineers
Procurement support in negotiations of key contracts
Schedule optimizations together with Program Managers
Fund raising support together with the Finance Team, such as building financial cases for the future expansions
Developing current and future Northvolt partners, e.g. integrators and installation partners

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications/education/experience
A relevant university degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar). Engineering degree preferred but not required
2-4 years working experience from 1st tier management consulting company or 4+ years as project manager in demanding industrial environment
Must have worked in multi-cultural environment
Fluency in English
Valuable (but not required) if fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
Specific skills:
Working closely with R&D, Process, Automation, Construction, Procurement, Business Development, Finance you need to have a general understanding of all key functions of an industrial organization whilst possessing an analytical skillset to allow you to dive into detailed problem solving together with subject matter experts
You need to possess leadership qualities and ability to build trust and motivation with key stakeholders to ensure implementation of initiatives
