We are now looking for a team focused Project Manager to join our Storage and APIs team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Project Manager you will be taking care of one or more Agile teams and run projects covering development of platform wide architectural changes and new functionality. It will be your job to create, execute and follow up the teams' progress. Another part of the role is to manage the communication between teams, projects and stakeholders.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Project Manager with an educational background in engineering; preferably with a Master's degree in Computer Science or similar. Suitable candidates have documented project manager or agile coaching skills and have a programming or software background. Having a great interest in managing software development is also important in this position. It's considered an advantage if you have knowledge in agile methodology.
The role as Project Manager is collaborative and requires the ability to interact with many people in and outside the organization. Apart from the above we believe the position requires a creative, open minded and goal-oriented individual with an interest in building well-functioning fast pace teams.
TEAM STORAGE & APIs
Storage & APIs is part of our Firmware Platform department. Within the Storage & APIs team we are responsible for developing the external APIs, SDK and the Storage functionality used in Axis' network cameras and solutions.
Firmware Platform is a unit within Research & Development's Software organization responsible for application functionality in Axis cameras. We work close to the Products and Solutions teams and the organization worldwide to make sure we have competitive and high quality Solutions and Cameras.
