Stora Enso's Wood Products division provides versatile wood-based solutions for building and housing. The product range covers all areas of urban construction including massive wood elements and housing modules, wood components and pellets. The offer is a variety of sawn timber goods. The customers are mainly construction and joinery companies, merchandisers and retailers. Wood Products operates globally and has more than 20 production units in Europe.

We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our innovation team. This is a temporary position for one year during current position holder's maternity leave. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable candidate is found.

Wood Products Innovation team is responsible of division's innovation project portfolio and processes. The primary working guideline is called Go to market process that includes tasks like collecting and processing early ideas, developing those through structured R&D programs, preparing investment cases and business plans and finally participating in commercialization of the new products and services. Team works in close co-operation with internal stakeholders like sales, production and marketing and external ones like universities, institutes and customers. Key target of the function is to support division strategy aiming to grow in value- added products and further improve competitiveness of existing offering through high quality innovation and R&D. Important part of the work is also identifying and monitoring possible disruptive technologies and knowledge sharing inside the division.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
*Manage internal and external R&D projects
*Participate in external project steering and building networks
*Active customer work in selected special areas

Qualifications
*University level degree in a relevant field
*Project management experience in an international environment
*Capability to create high level project initiatives and ideas
*High technical competence at least in one of the following areas: LVL, Wooden multi - storey construction, structural engineering, Wood modification, Classic saw mill processes and Process automatization/robotics
