Here is an opportunity to come join Vigmed, a Med Tech company in an exciting phase. You will get the chance to lead projects, a role that allows you to build and own an important area of Vigmed. Being part of a dynamic work place with ambitious and passionate colleagues.
Main duties:
This is a position with high demand for own initiatives, that also provides a large degree of freedom within responsibility. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a fast paced, entrepreneurial, international and multi-cultural environment. You will manage the NPD project and also Product upgrade projects, from idea phase to launch, leading an international, multicultural and cross-functional team. This entails being the Technical Project Manager, setting up projects charters with the steering committee and ensuring that a communication strategy within the projects are set up and followed. Also ensuring that the outcome from the NPD project is within agreed Milestones regarding quality, time and cost. Setting up the budget and making sure that the projects are carefully budgeted in both investment and consequential cost, always following up closely. Managing that the stipulated NPD process, including the regulatory process are followed is also your responsibility. Qualifications:
We believe that you are an experienced Project Manager/Program Manager, with at least 5 years behind you in this field. You have worked in Med Tech or in an equally regulated field such as Pharmaceuticals. We see it as valuable if you have experience working in global projects, launching products in both Europe and for example the US and Asia. As does being used to working according to standards such as MDR (MDD) and/or FDA. Education wise you have a strong base, with at least a MSc degree within Engineering and a build on education within Project Management. This role requires you to travel, so you enjoy having this as a part of your work. You have excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing and it is metorious if you also know Swedish or another Scandinavian language.
Since Vigmed is a small company, we also see it as a merit if you have worked in a small organization before, so that you have experience working in a broader role where you have the opportunity to take on lots of different responsibilities. Knowledge in CAD and CAE simulations will also come in handy.

We believe that you are a strong leader who thrives at the challenge of establishing/building a business, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. You will work globally, so having a clear communication style is key and you enjoy having lots of partners in your daily work both internally and externally. You naturally take accountability and see to it that milestones are met on time. Always delivering high quality and structure.

Description of the organization:
Vigmed is a company within Medical devices. We are situated in Helsingborg with a mission to eliminate needle stick injuries within healthcare. Our philosophy when developing the first range of products was to provide the health care workers with familiar, high quality, affordable products, which provide increased protection from needle sticks. Today, we have marketed products for intravenous and arterial catheterization first launched in 2014 - all with an automatic safety function built-in. We have launched the products in all of Western Europe and selected markets outside Western Europe. Our short term focus is to establish ourselves in the market with existing or upgraded products, and long term to innovate and launch even better solutions than what is present in the market today.
During 2017, Vigmed became part of Greiner Bio-One (GBO), which is a privately held, Austrian company within the medtech industry. Combining the innovative capabilities and "center of excellence" knowledge within Vigmed with GBOs market position and financial strength is expected to accelerate our growth even further.
