Setting clear and challenging goals and following-up the execution of the strategies and activities to achieve the goals are vital parts of our successThe Project and Prototype group, within Purchasing is looking for a Project Manager Purchasing. The Project Manager for purchasing will lead and manage purchasing activities, such as supplier choices, tooling investments and quality assurance (APQP), in product development projects and other cross-functional projects. . Working in a cross functional setting, you will contribute to the overall project deliveries and profitability of the company by obtaining the purchasing requirements.Responsibilities:Act as Project Manager Purchasing in product development and other cross functional projectsBe the purchasing representative in the project team and the project representative within the purchasing communityPlan, control, and report purchasing deliverables in each gate in accordance with our decided development process. Pro-actively plan activities to meet the demands in due time.Steer the purchasing project activities through active leadership and communication towards stakeholders in purchasing and other functionsHighlight purchasing demands on other functions in the project plan, in order to safeguard the project deliverablesPrepare and present project status in purchasing reference groups and other forumsReport deviations to the project plan and develop recovery plans with stakeholdersConsolidate tooling investment for the projectsWork in accordance with the existing tools and processes and contribute to further improvement of the process efficiencyContribute to the continuous improvement and global alignment of processes and procedureExpected Qualifications:University degree in Business, Engineering or related fieldMin 10 years of documented experience from project managementCommunicative-can cooperate and talk to colleagues at different levels in the organisationFluency-oral and written-in Swedish and English is requiredBasic technical knowledge, ability to understand drawings and engineering vocabularyGood understanding of project management and product development projectsPersonal Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skillsCapacity to coach and lead in a challenging environmentStrong team player, self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work x-functionalGood networking capabilityBusiness, financial & cost management mindsetPro-active and good ability in priority managementPersonal integrityWillingness and ability to work in a global organizationWe highly appreciate a positive attitude, passion and energy for the assignment.For further information, please contact:Jenny Lund, Manager Projects and Prototypes, Global Purchasing; Telephone: +46 31 323-8441
