We are looking for a communicative Project Manager securing reliability and long term functionality of all Special Mission Aircraft products. Your understanding of stakeholder management and drive for delivering scope and costumer value will be essential.
Your role
As a Project Manager for the Product Service Program (PSP) You will work together with contract and project managers to secure reliability and long term functionality of products in operation after product projects are delivered and concluded.
The position entails responsibility for cost, schedule and delivery, risk and opportunity and ensuring that Saab's project and airworthiness processes are handled correctly. You will manage multiple interfaces such as Support project managers and support service engineering, Product management, Design management, Design Engineers, Service engineering, Procurement department etc.
Your tasks will vary in both complexity and scope and we will together set your individual development plan according to your earlier experiences and career interests. Occasionally You will also support SMRA as a project manager within our aircraft modification projects.
The project is responsible for the areas such as:
* Secure reliability and long term functionality of products in operation
* Manage technical questions and investigations originating from our customers
* Manage technical improvements and modifications
* General Warranty Management
* Other aftermarket activities
Your profile

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Special Mission and Regional Aircraft, a part of the Aeronautics Business Area within Saab, delivers extensive aircraft platform modifications, services and integrated support solutions for cost effective support of systems and platforms during the complete life cycle.
SMRA is now in an intensive phase with several Special Mission and Civil delivery projects ongoing. Our business aims to establish and support the customer capability to operate and maintain world class systems like GlobalEye, SK60, Saab 340 and 2000.
