Our team Quality, Operational Development & Project support belongs to PSD (Product and Solutions Development) organization and we are responsible for the development of the operation within DVP (Develop Product and Aftermarket Product Portfolio). We support the product development projects within specific areas and drive operational development activities.

So, what does a Project Manager Process& IT at Volvo Penta do?
You work as Project Manager in prioritized Process & IT Projects as well as operational development projects within the area of DVP(Develop Product and Aftermarket Product Portfolio). You work with developing assignment descriptions (mission, deliverables, and timing) and ensuring that it is validated. You plan, organize, report and follow assignments in accordance to the approved assignment description. You also:
Use the Volvo Group Project Management Methods, Templates, Tools, Policies, Guidelines and Processes - use of Process & IT Project Handbook
Ensure Change Management activities, communication, organizational changes, competence requirements, deployment strategy, training and roll-out
Are involved in selected networks and collaboration within Volvo Penta and within the Volvo Group

Except your great personality we believe that there are some things you should know in order to perform well from start in this role:
Preferably you should have several years of professional experience within product development and/or proactive quality work
Experience of managing Process & IT projects and operational development projects preferably within the area of DVP (Develop Product & Product Aftermarket Portfolio)
You have a Master of Science or equivalent education
Experience of Document Management
Experience of Agile way of working
If you have technical understanding of Volvo Penta products as engines, drives and/or electronics that is definitely an advantage
