JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a highly qualified Project Manager for PR and Marketing with well-documented experience in managing successful projects from start to finish as well as leading creative teams. As a Project Manager at Acne Studios you will work closely with our creatives, lead a team of six people as well as lead all major projects within the marketing department. You will manage budgets and projects of variable size and complexity in a highly creative environment. By bringing a high level of project management, solution orientation and integrity, you will help in leveraging the capabilities of the whole department.
Acne Studios is a modern fashion brand and the execution of our marketing strategy does not always follow conventional methods, nor does it include traditional marketing activities. We believe that you have profound understanding of quality when it comes to products, packaging, image and retail.
The position is based at Acne Studios headquarters in Stockholm but includes travelling. The Project Manager will report to the Communications Director.
The marketing department is responsible for Acne Studios marketing throughout all distribution channels, packaging and branding of our product as well as signage, all images and films, special projects such as books, temporary shop in shops, and exhibitions. Your tasks will include but not be limited to:
• Organize, lead and manage the marketing department
• Manage large and small projects with different complexity
• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments at Acne Studios
• Make sure the marketing department delivers high quality on time and within budget
QUALIFICATIONS
• At least five years of experience as a Project Manager as well as a manager role within a high end fashion company
• Profound understanding of high end/luxury fashion packaging and communications
• A proactive approach to problem solving
• Understanding of creative directions
• Budget management & negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Great attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Production skills and team management
• Driven and result oriented
• Fluency in English, French and an additional language required
• Highly motivated, self-initiative, and yet a team-player
• An interest in fashion as well as other creative fields such as art, architecture, music and literature
