We currently have the following job opening;

Project Manager - Powertrain Systems

The Project Manager will have the responsibility for delivering the Powertrain content for a specific vehicle application project within CEVT Powertrain Engineering, including project collaborations with car brands within the group. The role will ensure that program activities align with the vehicle customer requirements, timing and budgetary expectations. The Project Manager will lead project meetings and participate in various vehicle level meetings to ensure progress and provide status reports. This role will support the Powertrain Sub System PMs and reports to the Director Powertrain System Project management.

Responsibilities and Tasks

- Ensure that Powertrain system projects are managed successfully against the NPDS process to budget and timing constraints
- Ensure project issues are managed with agreed solutions between China and Sweden teams
- Projects are regularly reviewed and approved through the Powertrain governance process.
- Ensure that issues are tracked and closed in timely manner prior to the required gate alignment.

Required Skills and Experience

- University degree in a related subject or the equivalent experience
- Intercultural / international experience, ideally including China / Asia exposure
- At least 5 years' experience in project management, ideally in the field of Powertrain
- Application of technologies into vehicle platforms - electrical propulsion systems would be beneficial
- Experience in reporting out program status in a professional manner to senior management.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written

- Experience of project management in the automotive industry
- Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive and motivate people Strong communication and influencing skills
- Structured and analytical with strong planning and project management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with excellent presentation skills
- Cultural awareness and interest in diversity
- Decisive, persistent, and result oriented
