WHAT WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will be joining our Common Firmware Platform Team and work together with other Project Managers, Coordinators and Platform Maintainer to provide Axis product portfolio with new firmware.
As a Platform Management Project Manager, the main tasks will be supporting and follow-up projects delivering to the Platform. You will be involved in:
Common Firmware Platform Program planning
Following up integration of features, products and applications to our Common Firmware Platform
Firmware issue prioritization
Follow-up platform quality and release blockers
Analyzing problems in our products and other issues related to our Common Firmware releases
Interfacing Product Management regarding release information
Firmware Release Work
Gradual roll-out of Axis Firmware
Coordinate activities with other parts of Axis
Run improvements activities as a part of our transformation to DevOps
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a well-organized problem solver who wants to be a part of evolving Axis Common Firmware. We believe you have a holistic mindset, like to help others and suggest a way forward. You should have a genuine interest in bringing customer value, products and solutions to the market.
Suitable background for the position:
Master's degree in engineering or similar
General software or product development knowledge
Experience from leading and coordinating activities and developers
Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Delivery and Integration
Knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence
Scalable agile methods
OUR TEAM
We are a team within Axis Research & Development organization, overall responsible for our Common Firmware Platform and upgrading Axis product portfolio with new software. We work close together with our firmware and product development to ensure that Axis products portfolio is up-to-date and meet our customers' requirements.
