At the moment we are looking for a new Project Manager to our Operations Development team.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
At Operations we are responsible for the supply and distribution of Axis' products, including Purchasing, Order Handling, Production, Sourcing & Production Preparation, Sales & Operations Planning, Quality and Logistics. We are today approximately 250 persons within Operations. Based in Lund, we interact with other Axis departments and a worldwide network of customers, distributors, suppliers, manufacturing partners and our configuration and logistics centers.
The Operations Development team develops and improves Operations, both internally and externally. We operate both within Axis and in our global supply chain. With our customers in focus, we improve e.g. in terms of time, cost, quality, efficiency, effectiveness, creativity and well-being. You will be an important part of the team, and will take full ownership of your projects and start to deliver tangible results from day one.
Axis' business is global, and app. 15-25 days of international travelling per year will be required.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone with an engineering education, most likely from Industrial Engineering & Management (I) or Mechanical Engineering (M), or a similar background. Your studies were focused on Supply Chain Management with good academic results, and most likely you have 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
We are looking for someone who is ambitious and social - teamwork and collaboration are essential to your success at Axis. In addition, you are structured and analytical. You can work independently but at the same time you successfully collaborate across organizational and cultural borders. You have a proven track record of initiating, executing and completing supply chain and business improvement projects. To be successful in this role you need strong communication skills; both Swedish and English are requirements. You will work closely with the project stakeholders to fully understand their issues, create and implement strategies for change, and turn potential into performance. You enjoy and excel at developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. You also thrive in an environment where you plan your own activities, drive initiatives and takes responsibility for the result.
