As a Project Manager Operational Support, you will be responsible to be the Project Manager, connect and lead correct persons to find immediately support for our plants, to mitigate the impact of crisis situations. Crises are mainly due to sudden material shortages from our supplier's.
You will have to involve the correct persons both on Global, regional, and local plant level, utilizing the strength of our organization, to fulfil as well short/long-term solutions to prevent our plants from having any disturbances on the assembly stations.
As -well as working closely to brand and quality representatives to decide how we can deliver to dealer without disturbances. Close co-operation with Engineers at Technology and Purchasing, to find possible alternative parts and installations, but still follow product and feature specifications.
The scope for the role is Volvo Trucks.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Be responsible for the assigned project team within Operations.
Communicate with and motivate the teams to enable engaged teamwork
Secure information and recommendation for decisions within Operations and cross functional decision meetings
Experience and Competence:
Excellent talent in networking to achieve results.
Experience in project management with proven leadership skills
Courage and good communication skills.
Ability to lead and create engaged teams and work through others
Generic product knowledge of Trucks
University degree / MSc or equivalent work experience
Fluent in written and spoken English
