hela Sverige As we have an increasing and exciting project portfolio of NPI, Supply Chain Projects and Programs, we are looking for passionate project/program managers to our Project Management organization at Sweden Operations in Södertälje, Sweden.

Sweden Operations is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing sites in the world. The site supply to 100 different countries and counts for ~35 % of the total volume of AstraZeneca's sales and has ~3500 employees. The site is also the primary launch site within the AstraZeneca network and many of the products in AstraZeneca's exciting pipeline will be launched from Sweden Operations over the next coming years.
The role:
The role involves taking leadership of the site 's cross-functional projects across a wide range of areas within Sweden Operation. The portfolio contains many exciting opportunities in all areas of life cycle management with focus on New Product Introduction and Commercial Supply Chain changes for this role.
The project teams are multi-disciplinary with participants from all parts of Sweden Operations and with links to stakeholders and project team members in other parts of AstraZeneca (e.g. Business Development, Pharmaceutical Technology & Development, Marketing companies and Global Supply Chain functions) as well as interaction with external parties.
The role offers opportunities to set-up and lead larger change programs with a high degree of sensitivity and complexity. In addition, conduct strategic reviews for e.g. future supply and manage complex internal and external stakeholder environments as well as oversee multiple projects' interdependencies.
You will join a dynamic, high performing team of project management professionals.
Your main responsibilities will involve:
* Lead cross-functional programs or projects by establishing and leading teams in order to deliver objectives efficiently and effectively.
* Lead, motivate and develop team members.
* Facilitate the resolution and handling of a wide range of complex problems within cross-functional teams, that requires well-developed conceptual thinking and people management skills.
* Manage project budget costs on behalf of Sweden Operations.
* Manage risks and opportunities and propose solutions that balance business needs and costs.
* Communicate effectively at different levels, and across different functions within AstraZeneca, to negotiate with and influence others over a wide range of issues.
* Ensure effective handover to the business.
* Drive continuous improvements.
* Support the development and maintenance of Project and Programme management skills, processes and capabilities across Operations.
As a Project Manager for NPI and Supply Chain Projects your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Experience in, and knowledge of, the pharmaceutical industry including experience in at least one of the following areas: supply chain management, new product introduction, business development, logistics and distribution, regulatory/quality assurance, process technology/development.
* Practical knowledge of project/program management principles and techniques.
* Understanding of Lean principles and practices.
* Ability to work within complex organizations and influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent leadership skills.
* Ability to use English as working language.
* Knowledge of Swedish is preferred.
* Ability to operate independently and make sound business decision with limited information available.
