Hitachi Energy is looking for a Project Manager Material Kits to join our Power Transformers business in Ludvika. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving Material Kit projects to ensure material availability and successful project execution within agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
You will work closely with Planning, SCM, Engineering, Production, and Project Management teams, acting as a key coordinator to ensure that material kits are delivered according to project requirements. How you'll make an impact
Lead and coordinate Material Kit projects, ensuring material readiness and successful execution according to project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
Collaborate across Supply Chain Management, Planning, Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Project Management functions to align material availability with project needs.
Monitor project progress, costs, delivery performance, risks, and key milestones, providing clear status updates to relevant stakeholders.
Identify, mitigate, and resolve material shortages, bottlenecks, and other project challenges to secure on-time delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, material flow, operational efficiency, and overall project performance.
Your background
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or another relevant field.
Experience in project management, planning, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or related business operations, preferably in a cross-functional environment.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, identify risks, and drive mitigation actions.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently and influence others through collaboration and expertise.
Fluency in English, written and spoken; experience with ERP systems such as SAP and knowledge of manufacturing, power transformers, or supply chain processes are considered an advantage.
