Presentation
We are looking for two project managers for the GWMS-project. The scope that will be covered by these two project managers will be from the operative level in the project to a more general, longer term and strategic level. The positions are full time with placement in Stockholm.
Publiceringsdatum2012-07-05Dina arbetsuppgifterThe program "Flow" at will result in new processes and ways of working for large parts of the goods flow (supply chain) as well as for finance and controlling. At the same time, a large number of existing IT-solutions will be replaced by standard platforms to ensure a global, flexible and user-friendly system environment. The new IT-solutions will be the foundation for a business platform enabling continued growth in a long-term perspective for "multi channel" and "multi brand" with well synchronized and efficient processes. This will be done in different steps and over several years.
A critical area within Flow is Warehouse Management where we with move from a pen and paper based solution to a task oriented solution. The solution will be implemented worldwide in all warehouses supplying our customer to start with (potentially also to all Warehouses supplying online customers). We are currently half way through building a global template and we are aiming for a pilot implementation within 18-24 months.
The Global Warehouse Management Solution team consists of 27 people with a mix employees, local consultants and experts from our selected solution provider Red Prairie. During fall 2012 we will work intensely with configuration, build and test and during 2013 we will move into an End-to-End test phase in parallel with training of end users. After the first pilot go live, a global roll out will start targeting all staff in 40+ warehouses worldwide. The Warehouse solution is being developed and will be implemented in tight cooperation with the rest of the supply chain solution and hence, a successful cross functional cooperation is crucial.
Tasks
• Monitor the scope of the project
• Together with the Operational project Manager and Business Project manager interact with steering group and key stakeholders in issues regarding scope, resources, quality and time.
• Together with the Operational project Manager and Business Project manager define the roadmap for development and test.
• Identify resource and competence need moving forward and ensure that sourcing and training activities are in line with the needs.
• Act as "orderer" and interface to a number of related projects that are prerequisites for the implementation of the new warehouse solution (e.g. Pick-to-voice and Hardware in Warehouse)
• Plan for the global roll out in terms of specific activities needed for Warehouses and identify resource need for Global Roll out
• Plan for maintenance of the solution (interaction with Red Prairie in support and incident process)
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• Several years of experience from large scale projects
• Experience from standard system implementation
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and specific experience from Warehouse Management
• Experience from working in a large global organization
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Qualifying
• Red Prairie system knowledge
• Experience from retail
• Experience from software development project
• Experience from Roll Out of Global Solution
• Experience from Maintenance (operations and support) of complex solution with external vendor
Others
• Excellent managing of deliverables ("to-do lists"), time management, communication (oral and written), presentation, and organizational skills
• Straightforward and open minded
• Flexible, yet structured
• Strong team player as well as good ability to work individually
• Social competence, prestige less
