hela Sverige Publiceringsdatum2012-07-17Dina arbetsuppgifterWe are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager IT to join the IT/Project Office team with preferred location at Papyrus in Mölndal. The IT/Project Office is a separate function within Group IT, which provides high quality IT services to Papyrus business organisation. One important function of the IT/Project Office is to provide project management capabilities and methodologies for successful execution of IT projects.
New initiatives are prepared through the One Papyrus Office and approved/prioritised by the Project Portfolio Board (PPB) based on business case. Currently some twenty IT projects are part of the IT master plan and executed in parallel.
Within the IT/Project Office you are responsible to formalise approved initiatives into structured IT projects for realisation according to the common gated project execution model. In your role as Project Manager IT you plan all required internal and external resources for your projects and make sure they are available in time. This requires a close cooperation with the respective IT resource managers and counterparts on the business side.
As a result of the IT pre-study, you compile a project contract including time plan, budget and scope of the project. Once the project is approved for the development phase (PPB decision), you are responsible for execution according to the project execution model until the project will be closed. During the execution phase, you report the progress (time, deliverables and budget) periodically to the project steering group and Head of IT/Project Office.
Lessons learned session together with business and IT and structured hand-over to IT Operations are examples of activities performed as part of project closure.
You are expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of project methodology and tools in order to further increase quality of project execution. You will also be involved in training part time IT project managers to ensure adherence to agreed processes and methods.
We believe you are a person with a solid IT background and project management experience from international IT projects with change management complexity. Papyrus runs SAP as basis for the central application platform and most projects have an SAP impact. Therefore previous experience from the SAP world is an advantage. It is also important that you are a team player with capacity to lead and motivate people in an international project environment.
Utbildning och erfarenhetPrevious experience in project management in an international environment
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English. Other languages seen as an advantage
Team player with ability to build strong relationships
Flexibility and willingness to travel
Knowledge of the Papyrus organisation and processes is an advantage
Experience in managing virtual project teams is an advantage
Experience from SAP and/or IT architectural design is an advantage
