The Team
The Project manager will be in the regional marketing function at Husqvarna which covers all of Region 2 (Baltics, Nordics, UK, Ireland and Africa).
The purpose of this marketing function is to interpret and implement the global marketing strategy according to business needs. This includes planning and implementation of sales and marketing activities in order to meet company targets for growth and profitability.
The Role
The purpose of the Project manager is to implement the regional marketing strategy, specifically in respect of instore activation, according to business needs within Region 2.
This includes planning and execution of activities in order to meet business needs and company targets for growth and profitability.
The Project manager will report to the Regional Marketing manager of Region 2 at Husqvarna.
The position will imply a close cooperation with both colleagues internally as well as dealers and suppliers in order to secure that activities correspond to local market needs.
This position can be located in Huskvarna or Stockholm, Sweden. Copenhagen Denmark or Helsinki, Finland.
The position includes travelling up to 50%.
The main accountability for the Project manager are:
• Planning and implementation of marketing activities
• Implement Husqvarna Division shop concepts within Region2
• Support global marketing in developing the Husqvarna shop concept
• Develop Merchandising Guidelines
• Supply local org. with relevant tools to enable implementation of shop concepts
• Cooperate with/support Marketing Coordinators with local adjustments when needed
• Planning and support to regional/local events
• Responsible for follow up on costs/activities per brand and country
• Turn brand- and market strategies into activities and plans. Focus on long time planning (1 - 3 years ahead) to enable profitable growth for specified brands.
Qualifications
• Relevant education or experience (University degree).
• International retail experience incl development and implementing shop concepts.
• Category management skills and experience
• Leadership experience (not manager) within Sales and Marketing > 5 yrs.
• Fluent in English (preferably also additional languages).
• Track record of customer focused service delivery, B2B and B2C.
• Previous experience of process development/continuous improvements and change management.
• Developed project management skills (i.e. initiating, execute and follow-up projects).
Personal Skills
• Good understanding and experience in dealing with the complete marketing mix and brands.
• Market experience / understanding of the different routes to market and the value of different sales channels.
• Understand the market and plan ahead whilst understanding wider implications of actions.
• Ability to influence people.
• Ability and experience to lead and coach a team.
• Strong communication skills.
