hela Sverige We are currently looking for experienced Project Manager for our customer within the automotive industry in Gothenburg. There is a need for Project Managers in various technical areas and departments of our customers so anything from Technical PM, to Aftermarket, Quality or IT.
Job description:
The mission for the Project Manager is to cross functionally lead the development work and be accountable to deliver according to agreed product QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Features) targets. The technical solutions should also be in line with approved cross-functional technology strategies and platform objectives. The scope for the PM can be a complete commodity (Cab, CVD, EE, HMI, Aftermarket etc.) or a part of a commodity.
Responsibilities
A PM is responsible, from project initiation (PCI decision) to project closure (End Gate), for the following main activities and deliveries, in line with agreed product QDCF:
• Cross functionally lead the product development work from PCI to EG.
• Request product QDCF targets from project manager one level above.
• Distribute product targets to project managers one level below or responsible engineering task leaders
• Compile and report product QDCF status in the project dimension.
• Project documentation (e.g. project description, PAP/PDP, risk register).
• Project cost including internal and external development cost as well as vendor/purchased tooling
• Product cost
• Project time plans covering all activities needed to ensure fully cerified and validated components, systems and functions (HW/SW).
• Drive and take part in the definition of product content.
• Drive and take part in developing the requirement specification to module level to ensure that the requirements are understood and accepted.
• Break down requirements to components, systems and functions supported by the requirement manager and feature leaders.
• Participate in the recommendation and selection of development and production suppliers. Architecture and packaging for area of responsibility.
• Cross-functionally anchored concepts and technical solutions.
• Plan, lead and coordinate the cross functional activities of all resources working within the project scope of the PM. This also includes SIPD work.
• Secure that cross-functional networks are established
• Proactive risk management.
You need to have experience from managing projects preferably in the Automotive industry. Technically skilled. Be an inspiring leader and good team player. Fluent in English both spoken and written. Great at creating networks and professional relationships at all levels. Have the drive to plan, follow-up and deliver several complex product Development projects with multiple deliveries with major business impact or multi-projects grouped together often with other project managers delivering to the program according to agreed scope budget time plan and quality.
You should be an experienced leader with excellent previous deliveries. You should have at least five years of experience in R&D.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Swedish. It's a plus if you have experience from working according to agile/SAFe.
