What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
You will work in the Project Management Office (PMO) at the Combat Systems division. This department consists of project managers and the function Planning and Control. We are about twenty people with high delivery- and customer focus. Our customers are mainly Navies and shipyards in different parts of the world.
Your role
You will lead one of our customer projects. This includes traditional project management tasks, e.g. managing people, budget, technical scope, deliveries on time, customer relations, suppliers, risks etc.
You will have many inferfaces and contacts, both external and with other parts of Saab.
You will report to Head of PMO. In your daily business you have a big responsibility for decisions regarding your project and you will have a steering committee that supports and follows your progress.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a result- and business oriented leader who has previous experience of leading large technical projects.
You have strong social skills and like to find solutions together with your team and other functions at Saab.
It is benificial if you have experience from agile ways of working and leadership in a changing environment. It is an advantage if you have a certification in Project management such as IPMA or PMI-certification.
We believe that you have a university degree in science or equivalent. Experience from the armed forces is also of interest.
This position have tasks including defense secrecy. It will be required of you to conduct and receive an approved security clearance by responsible authorities.
