Are you looking for a challenging role where you have a high level of influence? As a project manager at Beijer Electronics you will be a part of an international team of project managers, where you will lead and execute projects all over the world.
Publiceringsdatum2009-11-24Dina arbetsuppgifterYour main task as a project manager will be to plan and execute projects and to lead, inspire and coach international teams of software developers, electronic engineers and test leaders.
You will also be a part of a group where the overall questions regarding all projects within Global Technical Development are raised and decided on. This could be for example strategic resources, cost-issues, quality, and other highly important questions regarding the projects.
This includes:
• responsibility for project budget time and specification
• to allocate resources to the projects out of a crew of about 50 co-workers (available team resources are discussed and allocated from the SW and HW manager)
• coach and support team-members on technical questions.
Apart from the developers, engineers, test leaders and other project managers, you will interact with other internal resources such as Sourcing & Logistics and external customers.
You will report to the Head of R&D.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have a master of science in electrical engineering, engineering physics or computer science and engineering. You have 5-8 years of work experience at an R&D department and 2-5 years professional experience as project manager.
Additional requirements:
• documented skills in project management
• appreciate working methods with an Agile Software Development approach
• documented deep insight in system development models
• fluency in Swedish and English, both oral and in writing.
If you have experience from the automation industry, that would be an advantage. As Beijer Electronics use Lean, it is preferable that you have competence within this area.
