If you have experience of project managing within food business and are up for the challenge to be a part of developing our concept, then you can be the new star Picadeli is looking for.
At Picadeli the team is hard at work in getting people to eat more salad in order to realize our vision of a world where fast-food is the opposite of junk food. As a Project Manager FOOD Concept you will run pilot tests and development projects to seek answers to hypotheses on how to improve the Picadeli concept and enhance the consumer experience. You will be a part of a group of concept developers with different areas of expertise, such as hardware, software, consumer experience and marketing. The mutual target for the group is to take an idea and conceptualize it into a successful development of our total offer. Your focus is on enhancing the experience of the food in the salad bar, so we expect you to have a genuine interest in food.
You are responsible of defining, project manage and evaluate pilot tests and development projects in the early innovation pipeline. Several projects of different sizes are carried out at the same time, ranging from 1-month type of sprints to more extensive projects that will be launched in a few years. You work internationally, closely together with representatives on the different markets. It means that pilot tests and development projects take place in several markets and often together with other functions within the company. The position as a project manager is mostly operational.
You will be part of a competent and driven team of seven people also including product development and quality. The job is based in Gothenburg within the Picadeli central organization and both national and international travel will be required. You will report to the Head of Food and Quality. This job is a one year temporary position. The position requires an elevated level of project management skills, communication skills (to make sure everyone understand what to do and why) and ability to "get things done". You have a background or education either in marketing, food or other suitable field. You have some years of documented experience of successful project management or concept development. Experience from the food industry, grocery or restaurant is highly recommended.
