At the moment we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Firmware Interfaces team within our Research & Development organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Project Manager you will work with product management to refine product ideas. You will be running projects covering development of platform wide architectural changes and new functionality. It will be your job to create, execute and follow up a plan for projects. Another part of the role is to manage the communication between project and stakeholders.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a Project Manager with an educational background in engineering; preferably with a Master's degree in Computer Science or similar. Suitable candidates have documented project manager skills and a programming or software background. Having a great interest in managing software development is also important in this position. It's considered an advantage if you have knowledge in agile methodology.
The role as Project Manager is collaborative and requires the ability to interact with many people in and outside the organization. Apart from the above we believe the position requires a creative, open minded and goal-oriented individual with an interest in building well-functioning fast pace teams.
TEAM FIRMWARE INTERFACES
Firmware Interfaces is part of our Product & Services department. Within the Firmware Interfaces team we are responsible for developing the external APIs, SDK and the Web GUI used in Axis' network cameras.
Product & Services is a unit within Research & Development responsible for application functionality in Axis cameras. We work close to the Products team and the organization worldwide to make sure we have competitive and high quality functionality in our products.
