About the job
At NT we are responsible for Scania's and the VW Group's development of transmissions for electrified and hybrid vehicles, with the aim being to become the leader in sustainable transport solutions. As a result, we are currently in an exciting phase of work that involves new gearbox platforms, conventional, electrified and hybrid, as well as projects with new external customers.
We are currently looking for an assignment manager for project management within field quality, an area that needs developing with an eye to our new external customers. As an assignment manager, you will lead your cross-functional project group in work through the various project phases, from investigating root causes, through problem-solving, to implementation of the verified solution globally. We work closely on this with both development and the end customer.
You will be responsible for overall planning, financing and implementation. You will achieve success by challenging, engaging and motivating your team to solve problems that hamper our end customers' progress. In order to minimise the risk for our end customer, the pace is important.
As an assignment manager, you will work globally and will create a large network of contacts together with purchasing, production, simulation and test engineers, designers and external customers.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is stimulated by leading and motivating others through challenging problems. As a person, you are positive and have plenty of drive. You are articulate and communicative and convinced that problems exist to be solved. You will see the complete picture and are able to communicate at a general level, as well as being interested in understanding and explaining details.
We are looking for someone with at least a BSc in Engineering or equivalent work experience of product development, production or purchasing. Experience of a project management role or equivalent would be an advantage. You must be able to communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
