hela Sverige Department, Project Office, Sweden, has the overall responsibility to deliver Product Portfolio Development (PPD) projects for Haulers and Loaders in line with established targets and decided financial frames. The department is organized within Research & Development (R&D) and consists mainly of Chief Project Managers (CPM) and Project Managers Engineering (PME). In order to deliver PPD projects in accordance with our Project Plan we are about to recruit a Project Manager Engineer for class 1 project. (Class 1 project are projects which have the target to deliver new features to products already in production.)
The PME will be a part of the class 1 project Team and report to the CPM in the project dimension and to the Regional Project Director in the line dimension. The operational work is carried out in accordance with the Global Development Process together with colleagues from Product Planning, R&D, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, Marketing and After Market.
The position is placed in Braås, 22 km east of Växjö.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The PME is responsible to manage R&D activities from concept phase, through development, industrialization and commercialization until follow-up phase. The project shall deliver products meeting defined targets regarding features, quality and cost within defined time frames. Besides the operational work managing the project, the PME is assumed to actively participate in continues improvement initiatives aiming to increase efficiency within the PPD-process.
Profile and Qualifications:
• Experience from Product Development within the Automotive Industry
• Technical knowledge of relevant sub-systems such as electronics, engines, drivelines etc
• Bachelor of Science with the focus on mechanical Engineering or similar
• Structural and analytical approach
• Leadership capabilities
• A continous drive for improvements
• A positive attitude with a great sense of humor
• Holistic perscpective
