hela Sverige Within the area of Electrics & Electronic Systems and Soft Products we are looking for a Project Manager Engineering (PME). The challenge is to drive projects in a global environment to develop common solutions for our electrical/electronic system to be used in all or a majority of VCE products. Examples on projects can be to develop a new HW/SW platform (or part thereof), a new generation of our telematics or climate control system.
As PME you are responsible for work break down, planning and execution of the project in all phase from pre-study to industrialization. You are responsible to fulfill the requirements on quality, delivery, cost and functionality according to Volvo global development process. You will work together with the line organization, the Chief Project Manager (CPM), interfacing stakeholders such as purchasing, suppliers, verification and validation and internal customers (Product Platform, Machine projects etc.) depending on the size of the project.
Qualifications:
• Engineering degree, preferable in electrics or electronics.
• Experienced project manager
• Experience of working with hardware and software development for embedded systems
• Experience in Product Development within Electrical and Electronics.
• Results-driven, structured and result oriented
• Enjoy working in a cross functional, international environment
• Good communication skills
• Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
• Experience from the vehicle industry (on-road / off-road) is considered an additional qualification
