Here is an opportunity to join us as Project Manager for Embedded Software and System in 'Electromobility - Electric Propulsion System'.
In this exciting role, you will cooperate with product owners, component owners, brand managers and many more stakeholders to deliver software over different nodes spread over a wide range of Volvo products. Not only will you gain detailed knowledge about our system and fully in-house developed software, functions component software etc. but also understand how they contribute to helping our customers fulfill their transport missions.

About the role
Do you want to be part of the technology shift for the Volvo Group and lead system and software deliveries our future electric drivelines? Then you might be our new Project Manager! You will be responsible for system & software deliveries within Electromobility and work with a broad perspective from concept development in the early phases - to the later phases managing planning, development and delivery.
Electromobility is developing the complete electric propulsion systems for all Volvo Group business areas. You will join a team of Embedded software project managers responsible for driving the development of software and systems in the area of electric propulsion control.

Your main responsibilities will be:
Lead projects pertaining to Embedded Software and System in Electric Propulsion system controls area.
Manage projects according to set targets and business objectives
Lead cross-functional teams and work in close dialogue with vehicle & platform software domains.
Take an active role in improving ways of working to maximize customer value output
We are looking for a
• trusted leader with strong drive who is not just well versatile with Embedded Software but also knows how to spark team engagement. Someone who has great networking and communication skills. You have a business mindset, ability to prioritize and focus on key areas to secure maximum customer value in a fast-changing environment.
Requirements:
University degree in Engineering or equivalent
Sound knowledge of Embedded Software development, Integration and Release systems
Extensive experience in project management and/or line management
Experienced in automotive industry
Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
Strong drive and high energy level with ability to contribute to create a high performing working culture
It is meritorious if you have...
Project Management and/or Agile certification
Sound experience in managing software development, DevOps Integration etc.
Experience in CAST (Common Architecture and Shared Technology)
