This is what your new colleagues do
EE Hardware and Testing is a diversified, cross functional group of 20+ personal, with responsibility from design of wire harness to our Industrial & Marine projects, owning range of power system components, Sensors and also team developing test infrastructure (HiL systems) to improve test coverage & quality of engine ECUs, marine controls & ECUs used in emerging areas like electro mobility both on land and Sea.
We now looking for you who is curious and have genuine interest in sustainability to be part of our growing team as Project Manager Electronics. Using both your knowledge and curiosity to find the best solutions together with your colleagues in EH&T.
What you will do
As a Project Manager Electronics you will be working across the sub teams within EH&T managing electronic development projects in the area of Automotive & Marine.
As project manager electronics, you will be responsible for several projects in electronic product design. You coordinate the activities of internal and external engineers, in electronics, software, mechatronics and communicate the status of the project to all stakeholders. You will monitor the timing and resources and align the content of the activities as specified in the project charter.
Organizing and conducting all the activities of the projects.
Determining and defining clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects.
Following up with PMEs/stakeholders to align on their requirements.
Building a constructive relationship with the different stakeholders while managing changes and conflicting priorities;
Being in charge of the reporting to the Management and to our PMEs or stakeholders, on the progress, performance, risks and opportunities of all projects.

You and your skills
Ability to analyze and plan requirements in reference to scheduled projects.
Project management of projects dealing with the development of EE components, Electronics systems, Sensors.
Experience in managing projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success.
Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
Extensive leadership experience and strong teaming abilities.
Good to have
Volvo GTT systems, process and tools knowledge is an asset.
You have work experience as function owner.
Experience of the DVP process (Develop Product & Aftermarket Product Portfolio) is a merit.
You have experience in testing electronic control units.
You are an excellent networker and surely cross-functional with great communication skills
You are result-oriented, with a high level of engagement and a strong enthusiasm
You have been working successfully in an agile or lean environment
You have fun teaching and explaining complex correlations
