We are currently seeking an experienced project manager to fortify our team at Scania Project Office, entrusted with advancing TRATON 's electrical system roadmap. This pivotal work encompasses all our distinguished brands within TRATON, including MAN, Navistar, VW Truck and Bus and Scania. Presently, diverse solutions and system architectures exist within each brand. Our objective is to harmonize these into a singular, cohesive system for TRATON, a progression that will unfold gradually through distinct project initiatives.
We operate within a hybrid environment, embracing both conventional projects and a SAFe-inspired flow landscape in constant evolution-a truly stimulating journey from both a technical and collaborative standpoint.
Our Team
Our group comprises two teams: one focused on autonomous solutions and the other dedicated to the electrical system. Collaboration is key, involving close coordination with colleagues from various brands and partners situated in Germany, the USA, and South America. Wearing the TRATON hat is imperative.
The team is composed of experienced Project Coordinators, Project Managers, and Release Train Engineers (RTEs).
Who you are
We envision the ideal candidate as someone with experience in electrical system projects across all phases, from initiation to completion, covering startup, operations, and shutdown.
Additionally, we are seeking an individual with:
Leadership skills to identify solutions in a complex environment and inspire others
The capacity to grasp intricate details while maintaining a long-term perspective
A solid foundation with a relevant university education
Extensive experience in product development and program/project management
Highly effective communication skills, allowing for seamless interaction with individuals in diverse positions within the company
Comfort and adeptness in presenting and facilitating discussions with larger groups in English, reporting regularly to senior stakeholders
Experience in an international, cross-functional context within an agile team is deemed highly advantageous for this role.
Familiarity with JIRA will also be considered a valuable asset in the selection process.
