We are currently looking to recruit for two Project Managers Bids Rolling Stock Nordic at our location in Stockholm, Sweden:

In this position we provide an excellent opportunity for you drive development of a sustainable future. As Project Manager Bids Rolling Stock you are responsible to setting up the project plan for execution of our future delivery projects of new rolling stock. You drive and position the involved organization to develop project plans securing a winning bid in accordance with the BT guidelines. The Project Manager Bids will support the Sales Team by participating in external events and negotiations with customers. There is a potential transfer into project execution once tender is awarded. The ideal candidates has 3-5 years of working experience preferably as a consultant in one or more of the following fields of expertise: Project Management, Bids, Bid Controlling, Project Engineering, Operations, or Commercial Management. The role reports to Head of Sales & Bids Nordic.

Your tasks:

• Responsible for project delivery plan and supporting documents in bid phase;

• Responsible for project management related bid documents like project execution description, communication plan, risk management based on BT 's standards and adjusted to customer specific requirements;

• Reviewing of tender documents from other functions, i.e. quality, engineering;

• Developing of a staffing strategy for project execution team, alignment with HR. Selection of candidates for the project execution team;

• Running pre-start activities (if mandated);

• Providing commercial input of project management (hours/ODC) for bid calculation;

• Understand the impact of contractual requirements and develop execution strategies for the project - together with contracts and commercial management - to mitigate and reduce risks from the contractual requirements;

• Run risk and opportunity workshops during the whole tender phase with the bid team and manage the risk and opportunity level of the calculation. Follow up of mitigation activities;

• Provide functional input to governance documents;

• Supporting the Bid Manager in kick off and other meetings to ensure the Bid Strategy is understood and implemented;

• Ensures that adequate cross - function and cross - division interfaces are working, using efficiently the leverage of the Task Oriented Bid team structure;

• Leads the team to a common agreed response to issues and, in case of disagreement, can escalate issues ultimately to the head of Bid Management/Division President(s);

• Harmonises the Bid Cost Optimisation, ensuring bid cost optimisation is validated by all functions;

• Participates and contributes, if requested by sales lead, in customer presentations and negotiations;

• Responsible for transferring all materials (including but not limited to the 'As Sold' Blue Book and Project Handover Checklist) and bid phase knowledge to the project execution team, bringing the execution team up to speed on the project and ensuring adequate support from the bid team for the execution team during the execution phase launch process. Provides input for Lessons Learned/Post Mortem Workshops;

• The Bid Manager can have several ongoing opportunities in different stages and shall maintain control and report progress as agreed manager;

• The Bid Manager shall be able to assist other ongoing bids (support other bid manager) and assist with governance of smaller offerings not done under the lead of a Bid Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree in Business and Administration (or equivalent) or relevant working experience in one or more of: Project Management, Bids, Bid Controlling, Project Engineering, Operations, or Commercial Management;

• 3-5 years of experience, experience in cross-border team management;

• Agile project management;

• Team player that can ensure the delivery of the team under pressure and in complex situations;

• Proven leadership - open to coach self and other;

• Solid presentation and engaging skills, able to make powerful arguments and persuade both visually, in documents and orally;

• Good technical understanding of complex systems and products;

• Experience in procurement and public procurement, business intelligence, strategic sales skills, contractual & legal knowledge, negotiation skills and planning skills;

• Experience of working in multinational matrix-based corporations;

• Experience in working in cross functional teams successfully;

• Willingness to travel;

• Fluent in English, Swedish; Norwegian/Danish is an asset.
