At the moment we are looking for a Project Manager to join our Core Technologies - Analytics & Systems team within our Research & Development organization.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The role involves project management of technology qualifications and projects. Typically several projects/qualifications with different end goals are run in parallel. You will be responsible for planning, making resource estimations and finding key stake holders for the projects. Collaboration with other development units is important and you will be working actively making sure the cooperation is working well. Furthermore you will contribute to the development of our processes and methodology.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a creative, highly motivated, goal oriented coworker who thrives in working close to technology development. You have the ability to promote good team spirit and a creative work atmosphere. To be successful in this role we also believe that you are innovative and able to think outside the box. You enjoy working in and adapting to a changing environment.
Furthermore you should have:
• Master's degree or equivalent
• 5 years of project management experience
• Project management training
• Experience with project management tools such as MS-Project
• Excellent Swedish and English oral/writing communication skills
• Good presentation skills and motivated by promoting new ideas
• Good organizational skills, able to handle multiple running projects
It is considered a merit if you also have:
• Experience of management of parallel projects
• Experience with algorithm development projects and/or system SW projects
• Experience with business development activities
• Experience from using agile development methods
• Knowledge of some additional area(s) within network architecture, system design, image analysis, audio analysis, video applications, TCP/IP infrastructure, network protocols, web services, distributed audio/video applications or API design.
THE TEAM
The Core Technologies - Analytics & Systems team is responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Analytics and Systems. We perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies. We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas
The Analytics & Systems competence group within Core Technologies focus their work on identifying and implementing technologies aimed at increasing the value of the network for surveillance applications. This includes image analysis, object tracking, media technologies, cloud computing and communication as well as leveraging system functionality by developing and exploiting synergies across the network. The projects range from software and algorithm development to concept studies of new technologies and business related questions. The time frame for the work is 3-5 years.
