Do you want to work directly in our core business for our delivery projects? Are you keen on an opportunity to explore your project management competence, we have the right job for you. As part of the department Project Execution, you will be working in a global and collaborative environment handling large delivery projects. Our large deliver projects contain tailor made cable systems which are installed and engineered by NKT and our customers are Transmission System Operators and developers of major offshore wind projects.
Work with NKT's global customer projects
In this role you will be a part of the project team allocated to the project, defining strategies, handling and delegating project activities, motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all activities and milestones to achieve the project priorities. You are responsible for successful execution and delivery of assigned projects on-time, within budget, as per Contract Agreement with high focus on our quality and safety framework.
Your primary tasks will be together with the Project Manager:
* Handling large delivery projects, be responsible for all defined parts of the project until formally closed out as contractually agreed
* Identify, qualify, quantify and managing project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued
* Ensure that the project follows execution best practices and NKT policies
* Captures, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project
* Understand and monitor contracts, claims and procurement activities
* Understand and monitor stakeholder relations
* Ensure that the project follows and complies with company health, safety and environmental policies
Communicative, with a solution oriented mindset and high sense of responsibility
Your proven communication skills allow you to effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders as well as building and maintaining positive relationships.
You will motivate, inspire and lead project members to accomplish tasks and milestones, by providing support through both practical advice as well as action.
You see the value of strong team development and your tools and goals in the process are often the same; honesty, integrity and tolerance. You organize your time effectively to complete projects; adheres to a structured and clear plan and delivers according to agreed plan. You view problems as challenges and take your experiences with you whenever you face a new one. You thrive in a role where you need to take high responsibility and effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to achieve the project goals.
Additionally, your CV includes:
* Fluency in spoken and written English.
* Swedish and other European languages is an advantages.
* 5-10 years working in Projects as project manager.
* PM training and education in relevant area will be preferred
