Job description
As Project Manager you will lead project management, business development and client management for wind energy projects. You duties will include:
• Develop environmental studies and permits for specific projects in consultation with clients.
• Prepare proposals, including the development of technical schedules and cost estimates.
• Manage and coordinate project activities to achieve all necessary regulatory sitting, and environmental requirements and approvals needed to achieve project construction.
• Provide documentation for sitting, land use, wildlife permits; negotiate with regulatory agencies to achieve permit conditions.
• Understanding relevant regulations including identification and implementation of the optimum consenting strategy and leading consultations.
• Overall management of the outline design, liaison with all relevant Supply Chain Personnel.
• Management and motivation of project team, including external agencies.
• Take the lead on all consent applications and associated stakeholder management.
• Provide technical and commercial support and advice to owners and developers throughout the project life circle.
• Evaluation of site performance testing, guarantees, liquidated damages, wind measurement and resource management.
• Management of wind farm layout and constraints.
• Responsible for proposal preparation follow-up.
• Responsible for managing workflows.
• Compliance with and understanding of health & safety legislation.
You report to the Swedish Country Manager.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference may be given to candidates with advanced degrees.
• Minimum 3 years experience in project permitting and environmental review.
• Experience and knowledge of environmental permitting regulations. Understanding and experience of state and local land use and environmental permitting processes.
• Demonstrated problem solving, project management, negotiating and oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows based business software applications.
• Proven technical abilities in the wind energy sector or similar.
• Committed to hard work and continual learning.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English.
