hela Sverige We are recruiting a project manager who will oversee the repair/conversion or maintenance of the vessels at the yard in Landskrona.
Main responsibilities for the project manager are to plan, organize and follow up with focus on costs, time and quality. The manager is also fully responsible for the commercial aspects of the project. The project group is led by the project manager, other members in the group are foremen for each trade and finance controller. The foremen plan and lead the jobs and report to project manager daily. The controllers are supporting all members in the group by monitoring the cost.
As a project manager you need to adapt to each project's requirements, be updated of what is going on in the project - the technical aspects as well as the financial ones. It is of great importance to keep the customer updated of the progress of the project, often requested on daily basis from customer. The projects are normally scheduled for one to two weeks at the yard.
Qualifications for project manager:
• At least 5 years of experience in running customer projects with 5-10 MSEK turnover.
• Experience from ship repair
• Marine Engineer / Civil Engineer with mechanical engineering / Naval Architect
• Very good Swedish and English in verbal and writing
• Good computer experience and familiar user of Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
• B-driving license
• Cad knowledge is desirable
• Swedish is desirable
