ABOUT US AND THE ROLE
One of our Project Managers has taken on a new exiting challenge within PolyPeptide and therefore we are now looking for a new colleague who can strengthen our team. As a team we contribute to creating a high customer satisfaction which is crucial for our business. We are located in Malmö but work in an international context, both with customers from other countries as well as internal with our other sites.
As a Project Manager your role will be to manage and lead customer projects by working together with different parts of our business in order to meet the demands from customers and other stakeholders. The Project Manager is responsible to manage expectations and ensure that we deliver according to agreed timelines. In this role you will ensure project execution and follow up according to defined scopes, deliverables, budget, and estimated resource needs. You are expected to take lead at both internal and external project meetings, and work proactively with follow up on the defined scope of project activities and when necessary being part of generating amendments to contracts in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing department. As Customer Project Manager you will be responsible to present financial forecasting and do cost follow ups on the projects in collaboration with our Finance department as well as ensuring timely invoicing. You will also contribute with your knowledge to the global project management initiatives.
YOUR PROFILE
To reach success as Project Manager at PolyPeptide we believe you have:
• Experience from Project Management and / or Project Portfolio Management within the CMO / pharmaceutical industry.
• MSc or PhD in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or related field
• Commercial mindset and strong sense of ownership.
• Strong and timely communication skills in in Swedish and English both in speaking and in writing
• Proactive project management, understand and manage different requirements in customer projects
• Skills in resource management, estimations and apply for resources in a timely manner
• Skills in generation and follow up on project time plans
• Team player and good collaboration skills
Preferred but not essential
• Experience from financial aspects of projects, such as project budgeting, cost calculations, forecasting and follow up on revenue, profit and invoicing using systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Experience from being part of generation, review and negotiations of contracts
• Innovative thinking in customer project management within a matrix organization
