The Electronic Components Business Area of Sauer-Danfoss (Controllers, Displays, Joysticks, Sensors and Software) is searching for a Project Manager to lead large-scale development projects involving highly engineered electrical and electro-mechanical products for the off-road market.
Key responsibilities:
• Plan and manage the progression of key projects through the development and launch life cycle, ensuring timeliness, cost, and quality.
• Provide expert project management knowledge and support to project teams; provide solutions to obstacles to achieve successful launch of products.
• Lead global cross-functional teams and serve as liaison with a diverse range of functional areas in product development including Sales and Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Management, Process Engineering, and Operations, as well as with customers to complete projects on-time and at cost.
Qualifications:
• University degree in electrical/electronic engineering. Alternatively, a mechanical or hydraulic engineering degree with significant experience dealing with electronics. Knowledge of embedded software development is a plus.
• Ideally, candidates will have 3+ years experience as a project manager.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good verbal and written communications skills in English, an outgoing personality and a personal desire to succeed.
